Last time, Wikipedia announced that they are raising funds for the maintenance of the site. And lately they made another announcement that they have raised several millions of dollars in less than two months. It is amazing when people around the world work together and pitch in to save something.
Wikipedia has indeed helped every internet user around the globe in one way or another. The information they offer is invaluable. If I had some more extra money, I would have given even just a little. Maybe next time, when the budget is not so tight.
But I am thankful that they have reached their targets and they will be able to maintain the site. May God bless the people who have helped Wikipedia.
