Voting Continues for Voice of McDonalds

You know that I would support anything Filipino.

Anyway, voting continues for the Voice of McDonalds contest. The link is http://www.mcdonalds.com/voice.

I already voted for our kababayans, namely Radjie Zaragoza and Chenee Capuyan. Thank you Mr. Joe Curry of McDonalds Corporation for clearing that up for me. It is really easy to vote. Just go to the link that I have given above and look for their videos. When the stars under their videos light up, you can already make a vote for them. Please let us help them make their dreams come true. Twelve (12) of the finalists will get to compete in Florida for the $25,000 grand prize.

efren penaflorida

Here is another Filipino that is getting recognition in the international scene. Please vote for him too. His name is Efren Peñaflorida, 28, a CNN Hero of the Year Nominee. If he will win, he will get $100,000–a big help to his pushcart classroom. If you want to know more about him, click here. If you want to vote for him, visit this link. I am not asking you to vote for Efren just because he is a Filipino. But I am asking you because I believe in his dream and purpose. We have so many unwanted street children already in our midst. He makes them feel wanted, accepted, and even trains them for a better future. I have already voted for him. I will also share this in Facebook. By the way, voting is only until November 19.

Voice of McDonald’s

The two Filipino contestants of Voice of McDonald’s contest had a guesting stint at Umagang Kay Ganda this morning where they also rendered a song. Oh how beautifully they sang!

I failed to get their names, but they were campaigning for all of us to vote for them online so that they can be part of the semi-finalists who will compete in Orlando, Florida. But the voting will not start until November 11-December 4, 2009. So even though I was not able to get their names, I am supporting them by campaigning to you. Please vote for them online.

I just have one comment: both of them could use more facial expressions and gestures. Although of course the contest is about voice, but it pays to have a complete performance that can entertain people. But no problem about the voice–international caliber!
