My goodness! It seems that I have not yet gotten over the frenzy or lost the weight gain of the holidays and now Valentine’s Day is coming. As in it is already the second month of 2010. I am still not used to writing the year 2010 anywhere and now, February is coming up.
I have been rather occupied lately for the preparations for my daughter’s first birthday on the second week of March. That means it is up in just 5 weeks. And the last couple of weeks, I have not done anything but writhe in pain because of a big laceration that I had that needed surgery.
But now, it is almost the end of the month and yeah, Valentine’s Day is fast approaching. I have been reading much lately about marital improvement and I have been so much in love. I thank God for my husband and our marriage. And this union has brought forth a really beautiful daughter. There is just so much to be thankful for and so much to celebrate.
We cannot really wait for Valentine’s day to have a day, so we are having a simple outing next week. We are going to arrange for the care of our daughter and then we will just hang out for a couple of hours. Yeah, just the two of us.
On Valentine’s Day, well, I will have to think what to do. As for my husband, I do hope he will look up some interesting Valentine’s Day ideas for men that he can apply for us. hahaha This is one that I am going to really enjoy. Last year, I was already 8 months pregnant, but we did make Valentine’s a holiday. We checked in the hotel for some alone time and then just went around. It was lovely.
I am looking forward to celebrating Valentine’s Day this year.
