When I first read this piece of news, I was like, so what? Big deal. I mean, a caddie is a caddie, right? When you fire your babysitter, does that make the news? I bet that even if it was Angelina Jolie’s maid, it would not make the news, right?
Well, I never really thought about how glorified caddies are when I read that golfers do indeed spend more time with their caddies more than anyone else, even their families. So if a die-hard caddie like Steve Williams will no longer be serving woods, golf enthusiasts would really wonder why. By the way, Williams has been with Woods for 13 years. He only had a temporary stint with another golfer when Woods was injured and I guess he needed a job.
So anyway, that is the deal and it was even announced officially on Woods’ website. Well, that is okay. I don’t really care about it.
All I want to say, “Tsk. tsk. Tiger Woods.”
