I had not opened this blog, Posh Post, for about a week because I and my daughter had been sick. When I opened my dashboard, I had like 153 comments. And out of that number, only 2 are valid comments–all the rest are spam!

Arggggh!!! I hate having to delete them all! I do mark them as SPAM but I wonder why they keep on coming back. Is marking them as spam and deleting them just the same? My husband says that WordPress is supposed to report them as spam so that these IP addresses, email addresses, and and urls will be blacklisted. But it seems, this is not happening as I keep getting them. A lot of the spams I get have .ru on on their urls. Does this mean that a lot of spammers come from Russia? C’mon…

Anyway, spammers have also discovered my Mama blog, Lovinglymama.info. But thankfully, I don’t get as much spam as I do here. Grrrrr! I mean I have no problem approving advertising links as long as the comments made are relevant to my article. Please be more creative. If you take the time and go through the motions of blog hopping for the sake of leaving comments, at least skim through the article and post a valid comment. I don’t mind giving people backlinks, as long as their comments are related to my blog entry. Geez…
