Clerical Jobs

I had been thinking, I would like a part time job. But it should be something that I could do in just an hour or two hours a day. If possible, I would like it to be something that I am not required to think much, like it should not be a writing or a creative job where I have to rack my brains for new ideas.

So I think, the perfect responsibility for me would be clerical office assistant jobs. But if I am to work in an office, I don’t think that they will allow part timers, as in most office, clerks are multi-tasking–they are also made to do other jobs, like run errands, answer the phone, and filing among other things.

I believe I am too old and too qualified for that stuff. I just would like to be able to earn some decent extra income, as of course, I have a growing family. Yeah, as in growing. I have one daughter now and I intend to have another one in the very near future. So aside from paying off outstanding debts, I would like to be able to save some before getting pregnant again. So does anyone have suggestions?

Oh yeah, I would call my savings debt cancellation and baby savings. Not that my debts will be cancelled, but rather paid off. That would be a nice start. This year is going to be debt cancellation year. :D

Giving Birth

Hi everyone!

You might be wondering where I had been the past three weeks as I had been soooo silent. Anyway, I gave birth last March 11, and since I had a terrible time during delivery, it took a long while for me to recover. And I spent time at my parents’ house with the baby as I had difficulty getting up the stairs at my in-laws’ house. We had internet there but only dial up and so it was hard to blog hop. Hopefully, I can do it again soon, after I have settled down. We only got back here yesterday. Okay, here is a pic of my baby.

Bedtime Stories

My husband and I watched Adam Sandler’s Bedtime Stories last Sunday–our first date after about 2 months. I definitely loved the movie!

It was Adam Sandler comedy alright, but it was family fun. Bedtime Stories is about a down on his luck repairman at a hotel who was promised a managerial job when he was young. But the owner seemed to have forgotten this promise, and so Skeeter (Sandler) had to go about everyday maintaining the hotel.

But on a twist of fate, Skeeter found himself babysitting his nephew Patrick (Jonathan Morgan Heit) and niece Bobbi (Laura Ann Kesling) for a week. Whenever he would tell them bedtime stories and they would contribute to the story, the next day, the stories came true, incuding the raining of gumballs in the picture.

It was a wholesome, heartwarming comedy and my husband and I had a good laugh. We were really entertained. And we definitely adored Bobbi and her character–kind of like imagining what our daughter would be like. :-)

Bedtime Stories gets my vote.

p.s.
I recently signed up with Acobay.com–a consumer social network that I came across recently. It is cool, because aside from being able to make friends there, I can enlist my blog and my blog then gets traffic from other members. Acobay allows members to share and connect with people from across the world on the “Stuff” that you buy or use everyday. Cool huh? Do sign up there, too, and experience the fun. Plus reap the benefits. :-)
