Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid Wedding

Asia’s songbird Regine Velasquez and talented musician-actor Ogie Alcasid are reportedly getting married soon. And why not? They are not getting any younger and they have already professed to the whole world, albeit cheekily, how much they love each other. It was also the time that an emotional Regine sort of appealed to everybody not to make judgments and they had Michelle Van Eimeren (Ogie’s first wife) on a phone patch to sort of “bless” their relationship on TV. That was pretty brave of Michelle, mind you.

Anyway, I wondered, despite their cloying display of affection, that Ogie and Regine have still not decided on married soon after. Were they taking it slow and trying to avoid the same mistakes (or were they?) that Ogie committed in his first marriage?

I was sickened by their open display of affection, it was…ugggh…I dunno, I can’t describe the feeling, but it was sickening. I mean, I know a lot of celebrities have declared their love over the TV, but nothing beat that moment at SOP. Anyway, they are old enough to decide to themselves.

I just wonder about Regine, despite being famous, having lots of money, showing 3/4 of her boobs, and having all those physical enhancements, couldn’t she find a nice decent single guy? Why does she always opt for those who are already taken? I understand that Ogie and Michelle were already separated when she came in, but remember the Ariel Rivera-Gelli de Belen thing several years ago? I could not forget that.

Well, I guess it is time for Ogie and Regine to get married. After all, they have already shouted to the whole world that they love each other and Michelle is already out of the way. And Regine is not getting younger, if she wants to have kids with her lovey doods, then she better hurry.

I just couldn’t take it that Ogie fell in love with Regine. I just thought he had better taste. Sorry. I have always liked Regine as a singer. I have followed her rise from Ang Bagong Kampeon. But stardom has changed her, and not for the better.

Anyway, I just wish them well, if ever they will really get married. I hope that they will not end up in a divorce like Ogie’s first marriage. May they be fruitful, too.
