Jinkee Pacquiao Always Hit for Plastic Surgery

Jinkee Pacquiao

Jinkee Pacquiao models for Belo Medical Group.

Jinkee Pacquaio, wife of Pinoy boxing hero and Sarangani congressman Manny Pacquiao, has been the butt of many jokes for several months now because of continued alterations on her face and body. Many people say that she now looks more like a cartoon character than a real person and they cannot really point out if it is the fault of too much plastic surgery or too much Photoshop.

We cannot really blame Jinkee for wanting to look good and younger because it was widely publicized that Manny had a relationship with a much younger sexy actress. Maybe she feels like she has to cope with the aging thing and slow it down as much as possible. I will not comment further.

But what I would like to comment on are the people who say that she should be ashamed for spending Manny’s money on herself. My goodness! What are you people? She is the wife, for goodness’ sake! Let her be. She is not squandering money, if that is meant to look good. Who knows, it may be Manny who is encouraging her to do so.

Why do I say this? Because I know of men who are willing to spend good money so that their wives can maintain good looks. They are willing to shell out some of their monthly budget just so their wives can get hair and nail treatments, facial care, as well as buy new clothes. That is because they want their other halves to look good. So there is no shame in that. They like their women to look good so they spend for their beauty regimen.

You know who should be ashamed? Those freeloaders who go with Manny everywhere he goes. He spends for their airfares, hotel accommodations, food, and sometimes even their shopping (as I have read somewhere). And Jinkee has really mentioned about their growing expenses because of these freeloaders. Jinkee is Manny’s wife and as such, she has as much right to his earnings because that is conjugal property.

If she is spending their money on gambling, then that is something to frown upon. But in order to look good, go Jinkee Pacquiao!

Beckham Vs. Pacquiao in Manila

David Beckham and Manny Pacquiao

David Beckham and Manny Pacquiao

No, there isn’t a match entitled Beckham Vs. Pacquiao in Manila.

I am not really a football fan that is why I have not really written about the Azkals as well as the recent visit of British football superstar David Beckham in the country.

But I did read news items about last weekend’s friendly bout between the Philippine football team against the LA Galaxy team.

What especially caught my attention was the fact that Beckham was starstruck when Manny Pacquaio went into the stadium. He went to Manny and offered his white jersey to our Filipino boxing champ. It was reported that Manny’s wife Jinkee was giggling beside her husband, obviously thrilled with seeing Beckham face to face. But for Beckham, it was also like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Imagine that.

Now, who is the bigger superstar between these two professional athletes? Honestly, I don’t care. I am just proud about our very own Manny. No matter where he goes, his name resounds and people are just honored to meet him. And he is a Filipino. So I am proud.

What I like about Manny, as I have always written before, is that he is very humble. Like after a fight, he prays and raises his arms, as if thanking God for the victory. It is such a stark contrast to what happened after the Miguel Cotto vs. Antonio Margarito bout. In this fight, Cotto won and when Margarito went down, he looked down at his bloodied opponent and said some words that are not nice. I have never seen Pacquiao do that.

Pacquiao does not only possess exemplary athletic abilities, he is a true sportsman. And that is I think the reason why God continues to bless him, no matter what people say.

Pacman’s Greatest Fight

Sarangani congressman Manny Pacquiao takes off his congress robe in order to get up the boxing ring in the biggest fight of his career against “Sugar” Shane Mosley.

The two famed fighters faced off with the media in a press conference for their fight. According to the tale of the tape, both fighters have their advantage. I think Manny has the upper hand because he is so much younger than Mosley so I believe he has more energy for an enduring fight.

When interviewed, it was refreshing to hear Mosley honor Pacquiao when he said something like this would be a difficult fight because he acknowledged that the Filipino contender is a really good fighter. This is so much in contrast to the Mexican opponents of Pacquiao who would always make threatening statements in the press con. Mosley is very humble so this should be a very interesting fight.

But when asked, Pacquiao said that his greatest fight is not in boxing but in how to bring solutions to the poverty problem in his country, meaning the Philippines. With that, he gained a lot of approval from listeners. I think that Manny is getting better at this social game, he answers like a Miss Universe candidate! hehe

Anyway, Manny is already a sought-after endorser in America. He is now the official face for Hewlett-Packard as well as the Pacquiao Produce line of farm products. He is now the 12th most bankable athlete in the world and his status is rising.

I just still hope and pray that Pacquiao will be careful with all the blessings entrusted to him. He should take care of it and handle it properly.

Meanwhile, “PacMom” Mommy Dionisia will soon be celebrating her birthday so she is not watching the Pacquiao-Mosley fight. Instead, she is preparing for her grand birthday bash with an outfit that is fit for a princess. She said that she is asking for a Hermes bag from Manny as a birthday gift. Oh well, Manny, that’s your Mom and it’s gonna be Mother’s Day and her birthday. I guess she also deserves it.  hehe
