Training Leaders for Tomorrow

Although so many black Americans rose into power both in politcics and the private sector, there is still a need to educate and train some more. Because of this need, there is the Management Leadership for Tomorrow by John Rice.

In a highly racist world, colored people like us Asians, needs to show more or perform more in order to be acknowledged. That is why we need to hone are skills and talents, otherwise we will not be respected. But even then, the recent incident that involved the arrest of Harvard University professor Skip Gates by a white policeman again raised serious issues against racism. In the end, Gates was not charged of burglary or whatever but because of his behavior towards the policeman. But in my case, I believe I would react the same way he did. I am a 60-year-old Harvard professor, author of many books, wearing respectable clothes, living in an upscale neighborhood, and showing my ID to a policeman, and still get the same treatment as criminals behind bars? I think I would also react violently. And really, I think that the cop was just jealous of Gates because while he was white, he was probably struggling with his job in the police force, whereas a black guy lives in an expensive house. Too bad for Crowley, Gates is just smarter.
