My husband, my baby and myself were afforded a vacation since Sunday. Well, it is not really going on a grand tour, but instead, we were able to spend some nice time with my parents in their house in the suburbs with my uncle. While there, my uncle cooked some dishes which he said he recently learned. They were sooo good that I think I packed on some pounds while I was there.
Since my mother and I are also cooking enthusiasts, we got to talking about food and dishes and cooking styles, etc. Incidentally, Bravo’s Chef Academy and its now infamous contestant Emmanuel Delcour has gotten new popularity because of this guy’s shady past as a porn star, which he is not really ashamed of. The producers like the fact that their guy has something interesting in his past. Oh well, I guess there is really nothing wrong about that. After all, the guy just wants to learn how to cook!
