After the Philippine version of Marimar, endorsements, and an award, it seems there is no stopping Marian Rivera’s popularity from rising. Aside from good looks, a luscious body, beautiful fair skin (that is the envy of most Filipinas), and some dancing talent (yeah, some, because i don’t think she is a natural), she appeals to the masses. She is mestiza but does not come from a socialite family. They say she has Spanish genes, but I believe she does not come with a well to do family.
And now Dyesebel. Wow, Marian is in primtime TV once again with another title starrer. Her commercial with Sunsilk that says she is a leading lady is an understatement. Marian is a star on her own right. She does not need a leading man for her to be noticed nor for her works to land in the blockbuster chart.
Although I am not really impressed with GMA productions for TV (though I stick with their shows, for what reason I dunno, I just don’t like ABS-CBN for some reason or another), I did watch the initial telecast of Dyesebel last night. And I will watch it whenever I am available.
I like Marian’s pretty face. Thought I don’t like her head dress in the show. lol
