I want to work in a silent environment. Yeah, I think better because I can actually hear myself think.

However, there are instances when I can’t. The silence is just deafening. My ears are kinda sensitive. I can hear the thumping of my heart, the vibration of the electric fan, the humming of the air conditioning, the tapping of the keys…I can even hear my hair being blown by the wind. Sigh…it’s too much. It’s one of those days…

I just wanna cry.

I feel very happy for my brother. He is soon going to have a promotion and I am so happy. Finally, he was given the big break that he deserves. My brother works hard and he is already among the top 5% of his office where there are thousands of workers.

Last 2008, when their company evaluation came, he was among the top 25%. That deserved a promotion and a salary increase. But due to the economic situation that affected the whole world (which did not spare the first world countries), his promotion was affected. Last year (2009), that was when he got the highest rating. Even his managers told him that even though they have already reached their positions, they have not received a rating like my brother’s. But such is fate, and it can play jokes on us. Well, we do not really rely on fate. We trust God that all these things will work out for the good of my brother and for His glory.

And we are so thankful that my brother got this break. He will be sent to an on shore job in the United States. It is going to be a lateral transfer, not just training abroad. He will be staying there for almost 2 years and he will work for a water company, much like our local BACIWA. Cool! Their water company needs a java programmer. They must be so high-tech!

Anyway, my husband just went to have our printer fixed. Couldn’t seem to know what went wrong with it. Maybe we should get a Brother printer next time.

It’s a lazy afternoon for me. My stomach doesn’t feel too good from eating too much. I’ve gained so much weight coz I can’t stay away from good food…or any food for that matter.

And I feel lazy because probably I already earned my half month’s target income on the 5th day of the month. Thank God, at least I can rest awhile.

I’m building up this blog so maybe I can have this registered at PPP. But of course, I still have to have 4 more approved posts. But hopefully, by that time, this is already 3 months old.

Oh I love the weather! Cloudy but not raining and no sun! Yippee! For once this week, I’m not sweating.
