My husband and I got to watch Time Traveler’s Wife starring Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams. I don’t usually watch dramatic movies because I don’t want to cry, but because of friends, we went. The story is a poignant family drama, but my husband says it is a modern-day fairy tale.
Because of a genetic problem, Henry, played by Eric Bana, traveled through time. But the problem is, he could not control when to go or where he will end up in. Anyway, it did not get nice reviews from other critics, especially that this is the movie version of a bestselling novel, but what I saw in that movie or story was the strong love of the wife for her husband. Her love transcended time and she had loved him all her love.
This movie has made me look at my husband at a different perspective. Sometimes, we don’t know the treasures that we have. Likes diamonds in the dust, we just have to see through the rough surface.
