Recently, CNN Hero of the Year Efren Penaflorida has hit the headlines once again, not for another milestone, but because of his desire to win the heart of sexy ad sultry actress, Angel Locsin.

This idea was met with many different kinds of reactions, but mostly rabid against Efren. Many people do not like Efren because they say he is so ambitious to desire someone as hot as Angel. He is no match to Luis Manzano, Angel’s ex-boyfriend.

I don’t want to comment on who is a better match for Angel physically. Because really, everyone is fair in love and war. Efren had always liked Angel from afar and now that he had a chance to get close to her, he chose to pursue her. What is wrong with that? He is like any other young man who is pursuing the young woman he desires. If Angel turns him down, that is her choice. And that is the risk that Efren has to take.

With every courtship, there is always the risk of getting turned down. I have gone to Torrents Search and Download at PickTorrent.com and I have seen so many negative feedbacks about Efren. It is not fair. Like any eligible young man, he is entitled to pick his mate. It is up to the girl to accept him or turn him down.

But honestly, with all due respect, Efren has done so much good to so many people already as compared to the hunks around Angel. So who is the better man? I leave that to you to judge.

Ahh…now that is another Filipino who has made the Philippines and the entire Filipino nation proud. Efren Penaflorida was hailed as the CNN Hero of the Year. Aside from the $20,000 cash prize that he got being a semi-finalist, Efren will receive another $100,000 for the major prize.

Efren is from Cavite. He has given his life for the cause of educating the poor children through his “kariton classroom.”

Congratulations Efren! You deserve this. May many more people be helped by your good deeds. I am so happy to have voted for you.
