When in Business

I may as well be considered an entrepreneur. But I am not one who is very organized. I don’t even have a filing system. Maybe it is because I am an artsy-fartsy type of person and my strengths do not lie in administration. Of course I try, but oh well.

Anyway, I do need some business cards. I would like to be able to promote my advertising services to potential clients, especially ones that I meet in meetings and conferences. That means I am on the lookout for cheap business cards. It would have to contain the many services that I do, such as layout, design, writing, ad placements, print supervision, etc.

What are other things I do? Freelance marketer, internet marketer, publisher, blogger, etc. Shall I also put these in my business card? What I do is kind of hard to explain that is why up until now, I have not yet started making my own card.

Oh well, I hope to be able to get there. Or maybe I will just make a couple of versions, one for advertising services, and one for other creative services. And maybe another one as a pro-blogger? What do you think I should do?

Ahhh soo many choices. I am getting dizzy.

I Need to Market Myself

I am a freelance artist cum advertising professional. People and companies in our community hire me for things that they don’t know or don’t want to do. And since I am freelance, it could just be about anything. That’s okay, as long as I am earning, I am not complaining. I get to keep my hours and stay at home also take care of my baby.

Before I got married, I had business cards that I gave out to people. Now that I am married, I no longer have business cards. Yesterday, after I have done the sticker name layout of my baby, my husband said that I should already start making my business cards. He had been telling me time and time again to make myself a business card. But honestly, I could not bring myself to doing it because I don’t know what to put there anymore. I have been checking out business cards online in the hopes that I will get an idea. But to no avail.

It is just that I have been doing so many things that it seems unnatural if I list them down on my business card. For sure I can do a lot of things, as many people ask me to do layouts, handle events, go to the market, buy them stuff, do their scrapbook, etc. But it is confusing when written down on a business card.

Oh well, I will have to eventually get to doing it if ever I will continue working. For now, I will just evade my husband’s queries about my business cards.
