Winning a Blog Contest

Wow! In my other blog, Lovingly Mama, which is my parenting blog, I wrote about how we put Dindin to sleep and we joined a contest sponsored by Johnsons and Johnsons bedtime bath products–those lavender scented line of products. Aside from the content (creativity and relevance 80%), the blog was also rated for the number of comments it raked. And thankfully, I had a lot of friends and family members who are computer literate and so I was able to get a lot of comments. I think I got more than 60 blog comments for that single entry alone.

My entry is entitled: For A Baby Who Never Thinks It’s Bedtime. It is about our baby’s bedtime routine and how we got her to sleep early.

By the way, the contest prize is P2,000 worth of baby bath products from Johnsons. I think it is really cool! :D They say that the prizes will be mailed and we will get it in two weeks! Hip hip hooray! I am sooo excited! :D

Mommy Ruby’s Blog Giveaway

Hahahaha Yeah, our good blogger friend, Mommy Rubz, is giving away lots of prizes–including Paypal cash, hostings, and ad spaces. It is very nice of her to hold such contests. We have fun and we have chances of earning some cash. Oh I do wish I have her patience to do such.

Winning $5 in Blog Christmas Giveaway

You may be wondering what happened to me these past days. Well, I have been experiencing excruciating back pains–not the type that occurs in the spine but rather a topical pain that exists in the muscles. Normally, it feels like a knotted muscle, but every few hours, I get “attacks” and pain is overrules the surrounding areas, up to the front side.

Been trying to rest from time to time, but yesterday, I was maid of honor in a wedding (at almost 6 months pregnant) and while I was trying to smile, I kept moving trying to find a suitable position for my aching back. Anyway, that was how I was been the past several days. So forgive me for not visiting you. After a visit to the chiropractor later, I hope to be feeling better.

Anyway, I just want to thank Ria of It’s My Party. She sponsored a blog giveaway a couple of weeks back. She invited me but I forgot and then she reminded me a few days before the contest ended. I joined. It was very simple, I just had to guess the number of guinea pigs that were in the cage. There were of us who got the answer right. But guess what, through Random.Org, I was randomly chosen as the winner. :-) And the prize of $5 came at a time when I needed to go to a chiropractor whose single service costs around $6…Thank you Ria! :-) And God really knows our needs. :-) Below are Ria’s pets. :-)
