Spa Natura-Relaxing in Bacolod City

Last time, I had the privilege of attending the opening of Spa Natura, the newest and most luxurious, 24-hour spa in Bacolod City. I am just very glad that there is a spa like that in the city now.

Spa Natura sits on the entire second level of a plush and modern commercial building spanning more than 4,000 square feet of tranquil space. A cozy and modern reception and lounge await its guests. It has several well-appointed massage rooms, two modern scrub rooms with vichy showers, a foot massage lounge overlooking the city’s sights, nail care and facial areas, and a quaint salon. There are also separate wet areas for men and women with sauna baths, steam rooms, and spacious hot and cold showers. Those who want to have privacy may opt to have their services rendered in the exclusive Lotus Suite that features a jacuzzi.

Spa Natura is all about pampering at its finest. The moment I step into the hallway of Spa Natura, I start feeling restored and rejuvenated already. The scent of green tea just pervades the air and relaxes my senses.

I am looking forward to my next visit to Spa Natura. So far, I have tried their Swedish massage, steam bath, and hair cut with blow dry. No regrets. Next time, I will go for the body scrub and hair cellophane treatment.

I am pretty sure that Bacolod City will just crowd with tourists for the MassKara Festival. So if you are in Bacolod City, do visit Spa Natura and you will not regret the experience.

New Hair By Spa Natura Salon

I have new hair. It is a short cut. I am not sure if it is called a bob cut. Whatever it is, I like it. My new hair style is easy to manage, just wash and wear. For a mommy like me without a babysitter, this is the coolest thing in hairstyle. I will just upload my pic.

I am just thankful that I was able to get away for the evening as my husband volunteered to take care our baby while I was away. Thank you, darling. Hehe nag darling na. But we use “Baby” as endearment.

Anyway, I had my hair done by Mark at Spa Natura Bacolod. It is the newest and most modern spa by far here in the Bacolod City.  Here are a couple of photos of the Spa Natura Salon. That is Mark in action giving a haircut and then adjusting the steam for the hair spa. :-D

By the way, I had a haircut, then a shampoo, a brief head massage, and a blow dry. The stylist, Mark, suggested that I get a hair cellophane treatment next time. He thinks I would look good with mahogany colored hair treatment. I just might consider it. Maybe, I will have one next month, just before we leave for Cagayan de Oro City in order to attend our friend’s wedding. :-D It is the wedding of my husband’s bestfriend. My husband is best man while our baby is one of the flower girls. Hmmm…I think this time, my husband is getting a haircut already. hehe

You know what? I felt energized after the haircut. I only took the jeepney going to and fro the salon as my husband had to take care of our baby. But I felt good afterwards. Imagine what a haircut or a visit to the salon can do. Although it costs money, sometimes, its effect far outweighs the cost. I mean for a single hair, which by the way costs P250, I felt rejuvenated. Truly at Spa Natura, you can relax and rejuvenate. That is their slogan.

Lovely Swedish Massage

My husband and I had been really stressed these past 4 months because our baby kept getting sick on and off. We could not work much either as we stayed up every night until the wee hours of the morning. Our baby got sick a minimum of 1 week and a maximum of 2 weeks interval. Imagine how stressful it is for our hearts, minds, bodies, and of course, our pockets.

My baby is better now and I had a relaxing treatment at Spa Natura. It was recommended by their manager that I go in their very nice and private steam bath for 15 to 20 minutes, get a cool shower, and have a one-hour Swedish massage. Since my muscles were all sore and I have a nagging headache because of coughing for more two weeks, that seemed like an enticing buffet after fasting.

And I am very thankful that I did visit Spa Natura. The place is very clean and serene. Going up the stairs to the second floor where they are (no, I did not take the elevator although they the building had one), I was greeted by the scent of eucalyptus wafting along the hallway. Ahhhh…my nerves started to relax as I took the short walk along their calming hallway.

I was the only one who had the steam bath and I enjoyed the privacy. I think my bath lasted for 20 minutes, after which I took a cold shower and scrubbed myself. I was then led to my massage room that smelled oh sooo good. No, it was not perfumed but it had a calming essence that was a delight to my sensitive nose.

I forgot the name of my massage therapist but she was really good. She knew just where to press hard and where to just stroke gently. For the first time, I slept during my massage. Yeah, I never sleep during a massage because I want to savor the sensation of being kneaded, pressed, tapped, and stretched. Maybe I was just too tired and my therapist was really good at giving me my relaxing Swedish massage.

My sore muscles were really relieved after the massage and I felt great. I was energized for the days that came. I am thankful to Spa Natura. They took good care of me.
