Laughing creates laugh lines and in order to prevent that, they keep a straight face. I wonder if there is a value to his opinion, but I think that he has a point. But gee, I would laugh my heart out–wrinkles or not. Life is too short to keep a grim face always.

Angelina Jolie was recently interviewed by Newsweek and she landed on the cover for this prestigious current affairs magazine. Here she talks about her new film, In the Land of Blood and Honey, which is her directorial debut.

Jolie reportedly wrote this story in two days while being quarantined in the attic of their French home as she nursed a flu.

The problem is, a Crotian journalist is claiming that the Hollywood actress stole the concept of his story, which he wrote in 2007. James J. Braddock claims that Jolie has read his article and used it as an inspiration for the storyline of In the Land of Blood and Honey.

The movie is a love story set in wartime 1990s Bosnia where a girl named Aija falls in love with Daniijel–a Serb. She was raped and abused in prison. Or something to that effect.

Again, I don’t know the real story, but honestly I think that wartime stories like these are not uncommon. I think these have all happened in wars all over the globe. It even happened to Filipinas during the Japanese regime.

And also, many writers and artists have been inspired at one point in time by different people so it may be what happened to Jolie when she wrote the story.

I thought it kinda cool that a premier actress like Angelina could also write a screen play as well as direct a movie. But anyway, these things happen.

This is the second legal battle for Jolie. Earlier, her former nanny living at their French estate sued them for dismissal compensation after two years of service. The 45-year-old Ana Charlotiaux was fired for allegedly making too many sick leaves.

Last month, Jolie’s name was also dragged in murky waters when it was reported that she dealt with a mass murderer in Cambodia when she bought her properties there.

Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has long been known for her humanitarian efforts, such as her works in Cambodia where she has citizenship in 2005.

Jolie has set up the Maddox Jolie Pitt Foundation in Cambodia, naming it after her adopted son, Maddox, who hails from the same country. Angelina has already put in many millions of dollars for this foundation in support of various projects for the area that was once the lair of the Khmer Rouge. She has brought so much help in the area.

However, reports now came out that Angelina Jolie has bought the land for $25,000 from a man who was once a Khmer Rouge lord and is considered a mass murderer.

Jolie is a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations refugee agency and she has been to so many refugee camps in more than 30 countries. One of the countries that she fell in love with was Cambodia. The question though is, “Was Angelina aware of the sale and the questionable background of the property?”

It seems that she was, if we are just to believe her former associate, Mounh Sarat. He said that he handled the purchase of the land that added up to about 225 acres, from a Cambodian leader named Yim Tith, who was known in revolutionary times as Ta Tith of the Khmer Rouge regime. When Angelina became a citizen, the ownership was transferred to her name.

I am not sure if all of this is true or just part true or not true at all. But this was revealed by a man who had publicly made allegations against Miss Jolie. So the details of this case are under investigation and Jolie’s camp would not comment on it.

Thanks to a bout with flu and getting quarantined, Angelina Jolie was able to write a love story that is set in the backdrop of the Bosnian Civil War era.

Angelina was holed up in an attic in their house in France because she does not want her family of six kiddos to get infected. As she did not have anything with her, all she did was think and eventually, she got to writing.

When she went out of the room, she showed husband Brad Pitt her manuscript and he said that it was “not bad”.

So now, Angelina is already starting the filming of her new movie and it is entitled, “In the Land of Blood and Honey”. I am not into epic war stories so I am not sure if I am going to watch this.

But really, Angelina is so productive. Most people (like me) would just lie down while battling with flu. She came up with a movie script and now she has become not just one of Hollywood’s highest paid actresses but also a screenwriter and director. Cool! Way to go Angelina Jolie!

Angelina Jolie in London: Much too thin?

I am not sure if Angelina Jolie is yet preparing for another movie that requires her to be really skinny, but I do miss her muscles in Tomb Raider and Salt.

More than a dramatic actress or a leading lady type, I have always looked at Angelina as the superheroine type and so I am not used to seeing her like an anorexic waif.

Anyway, in this photo taken in London yesterday when she just came out of the Dorchester Hotel to have dinner at the Zaika restaurant along Kensington High Street, Angelina was spotted sporting her hair down and wearing an all-black ensemble that made her look even thinner. What happened to her muscle tone? It seems that she is working too hard, not eating enough, and not getting exercise. Wow, I sure wish I have the propensity to control my eating like the stars do. But I get really cranky if I am hungry!

I am not sure why Hollywood is making this look so trendy nowadays. It is not healthy anymore. Angelina Jolie and Victoria Beckham should start eating and gain some pounds like Megan Fox.

I am quite excited with the new movie by Angelie Jolie with Johnny Depp because of the stir that it caused. It seemed that Johnny Depp’s long time lady love Vanessa Paradis got scared that the screen goddess Angelina would also steal her man. Well, her fears are not unfounded after all, Angelina is known to “steal” men, the latest of whom was Brad Pitt.

Well, anyway, I am just sharing here the official trailer of The Tourist that I got from You tube. I wanted to see what Vanessa was fuming about.

But as with any Angelina Jolie movie, I am sure that I am going to love this. I just wonder though, it seems that her lips are much thicker here, much pouty? I mean we all know the Angelina Jolie lips are something that women are trying to copy, including Megan Fox, but I think her lips in The Tourist are more pronounced. Or she is much thinner now? Crazy.

There is some kind of protrusion on the side of Angelina Jolie’s head that is bordering on his jawline and neck. It is really strange. Many people, especially doctors, are trying to figure it out, but it seems nobody can offer any conclusive information.

Hmmmm…I dunno really, I can’t make up my mind about it. I can just hope it is not a medical concern. This issue seems to be surpassing the Brangelina split issue.

Lawyer Chau Kai-bong, the man who was first to have a golden toilet primarily because he loved gold, already died because of cancer. Wow! Honestly, this is the first-time I have heard of a golden toilet. I know that the rich do not know where to use their money and so I have heard of gold plated muebles, but a toilet? Oh well, I guess the rich just want to live in style, even inside their toilet.

Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie has been alleviated to the “angel” status because of her tremendous help to the people of Haiti. Not only did she donate $1 million for relief work, but she also visited the place, boosting the morale of many people there. Now, there is no talk about she and Brad’s separation. Everything is for a good cause.

It is really quite a surprise now that the couple has 6 children in their custody, 3 adopted children and 3 natural children namely Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox. If this is true, that is really sad.

The showbizspy.com has reported that Pitt and Jolie are fighting for the custody of their children. They are also trying to divide their fortune that has reached $330 million. Would you believe that? I thought it only gets complicated when the couple is married, that is why these two people decided to live together without making it legal? It can be remembered that Jolie has been married twice and Pitt once, so the two of them has both experienced getting a divorce and how messy it had been.

But even with their common-law partnership, they have already hired lawyers for their cases.  Indiatimes has reported that Pitt has already purchased a bachelor’s pad in Hollywood Hills in order to move forward after their break up.

While Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt remain to be the hottest couple in Hollywood today, seemingly content and happy with the partnership even without marriage, rumors have gone out that reportedly points to Angelina as being a “snake.” That is, she snaked Brad while the guy was still hitched with actress Jennifer Aniston.
