Neil Patrick Harris of the Doggie Howser fame in the 90s resented Britney Spears’ guesting in his CBS Sitcom “How I met Your Mother.” In an Associated Press article, Harris was quoted as saying “I worry that if they start `Will and Grace’-ing us too much, that the show will suffer. And we’re all really proud of the content of the show. I mean, viewership is not our game. It’s the network and the studio’s game, you know. It’s the promotion department’s game.”
However, recently, he retracted his statement, owing much to the fact that the show’s ratings dramatically increased in the episode where Britney guested.
Let us face it, Britney is Britney. And despite her notoriety, she is still ver popular. And people still want her. That is right Harris, your job is to act and do it well. Get off of Britney’s back.
