Anyway, here is the latest. Many people have been complaining about the body double, I mean hand double, used in the new Motorola commercial featuring sexy siren Megan Fox. My goodness, that body!
But it is not her body in question but her hand. Megan, they say, has brachydactyly, which is a condition that is also known as clubbed thumbs. The plot of the commercial, which was first shown on US TV during the Super Bowl, was Megan toying with her new Motorola phone while inside a bathtub full of suds. But then they had to show a close up shot of the phone with Megan tinkering with it. Since most of the movements used the thumb, it would really have shown Megan’s thumb. So instead of using her hand, they used that of a model’s with a nice thumb.
Well, I don’t have a problem with that. That is a teeny weeny flaw. Why not hire a double in a commercial? It does not really matter. For a 30-second commercial, the exposure of the thumb is like 2 seconds. So what if it was not Megan’s hand? It does not diminish the fact that she is still very pretty and sexy.
