Well, there it is. Melai Cantiveros is the big winner of this season’s Pinoy Big Brother. Congratulations to you and we all know that you will have a career as a comedy actress after this. I am pretty sure that you will become at par with the nation’s best, like Ai Ai dela Alas and Pokwang. Good for you, girl!
The other minor winners are Paul Jake Castillo, Jason Francisco, Johan Santos, and Steve “Tibo” Jumalon. We all thought that the big winner would either be Jason–Melai’s love interest and I think boyfriend for real now. But in the end, Jason only ended in third place.
But I think Melai deserved to be the big winner. I just can’t stand being in the same house with her for that period.
Melai, as big winner, won the following prizes:
P1 million – cash prize
P2.5 million house and lot
40-inch LCD TV screen
Travel with a companion to three key Asian destinations as
Water refilling station franchise
Meanwhile, Paul Jake got P500,000, Jason got P300,000, Johan got P200,000 and Tibo got P100,000. They also got laptops. All their chosen charities will receive the same amount that the winners got.
As for the charitable institutions of their choice, Tibo and Johan both singled out House With Little Steps Foundation while Jason supported San Isidro Elementary School. Paul Jake has the Special Child Association of Cebu Foundation, Inc., in mind while Melai will be donating P1 million to the Substitute Home for Girls.
Well she deserves it!
