Breast Enhancement Gift Voucher for a 7-year-old?

Poppy is a girl who recently turned seven. Unlike other girls her age, the difference is that, her mother is Sarah Burge–a woman who is reportedly addicted to cosmetic surgery.

Last year, Burge made quite a stir when she told the press that she taught the then 6-year-old Poppy how to pole dance. Really? While most mothers would encourage artful and less sexually dances for young girls, Burge opted for pole dancing for her pre-schooler. Isn’t that cool or what?
And this year, as Poppy turned 7, Burge’s biggest birthday surprise for her daughter was a £6,000 gift certificate for a boob job. And I am like what? I know that each mother just parents her kids in the best way that she knows how, but really, Miss Burge, is this the best way?

Burge said that Poppy had begged her to allow her to have breast enhancements and so in order to make her child happy, she gifted her with that voucher that she could only use when she turns 16. I believe that is the legal age in Europe to undergo cosmetic surgery. Poppy was reportedly ecstatic with the gift and even screamed with delight because she said that she is already the envy of her friends. She likes the fact that her Mom has an ample bosom so she would like to have something like that, too. Sigh, I guess Moms really have the greatest influence on their kids, right?

The gift certificate was half of the £12,000 ‘exotic pamper party‘ that Burge organized for Poppy and her seven friends. The girls got some really good pampering like manicures, pedicures, makeovers and even had fake tattoos. They also drank pretend champagne in the back of a pink pamper bus that was especially prepared for the party. They also shared a designer cake worth £250. Poppy was radiant that day in her £300 dress. She had nail varnish, eyeshadow, and hair extensions as well. Of course, she was the envy of her friends who enjoyed the lavish pampering. The only thing I was is that I could use that pampering right now! LOL

But seriously, this is crazy stuff. Many groups were alarmed when photos of Burge were released last year while she and Poppy posed by a pole. Yet, nothing has happened so far. Burge’s family owns a bar where there are pole dancers so she thinks that Poppy could learn the dance itself and be good at choosing their dancers later on. My goodness! She is just a child! I dunno what to say anymore….

There is just one thing that keeps bugging me though. Is it just me or it seems like Poppy looks like a 60-year-old woman in a child’s body? She looks like the old woman with long white hair that often plays the role of aswang in local Filipino films. hehe Of course, she is just whiter.
