My husband and I watched Adam Sandler’s Bedtime Stories last Sunday–our first date after about 2 months. I definitely loved the movie!
It was Adam Sandler comedy alright, but it was family fun. Bedtime Stories is about a down on his luck repairman at a hotel who was promised a managerial job when he was young. But the owner seemed to have forgotten this promise, and so Skeeter (Sandler) had to go about everyday maintaining the hotel.
But on a twist of fate, Skeeter found himself babysitting his nephew Patrick (Jonathan Morgan Heit) and niece Bobbi (Laura Ann Kesling) for a week. Whenever he would tell them bedtime stories and they would contribute to the story, the next day, the stories came true, incuding the raining of gumballs in the picture.
It was a wholesome, heartwarming comedy and my husband and I had a good laugh. We were really entertained. And we definitely adored Bobbi and her character–kind of like imagining what our daughter would be like.
Bedtime Stories gets my vote.

I recently signed up with Acobay.com–a consumer social network that I came across recently. It is cool, because aside from being able to make friends there, I can enlist my blog and my blog then gets traffic from other members. Acobay allows members to share and connect with people from across the world on the “Stuff” that you buy or use everyday. Cool huh? Do sign up there, too, and experience the fun. Plus reap the benefits.
