Too Young for LoveTeam

I have not written last time about First Time, the teleserye of GMA for tweens, which stars the very pretty Barbie Forteza opposite Joshua Dionisio and Elmo Magalona.

While the show was probably good for the career of the newcomers, I am not sure if it is any good as an example to the young people nowadays. The networks are making the loveteam thingy a wee bit too early already. Because there is now a growing market for tweens, the networks are capitalizing on them without regard for the morality of their shows.

While there is probably nothing like love scenes in the show, I saw one episode that was plugged that had a kissing scene, or probably a smack, but nevertheless, the relationship of very young people are encouraged. What happened to the verse “Do not awaken love until it so desires?”

The media continues to bombard the minds of people with mass indoctrination through their shows. And they refuse to take responsibility. They just put there Parental Guidance and leave it at that. But who really watches shows with their children nowadays? With Mama and Papa both working, the child is left with the TV. And what do they get to watch? Shows like First Time.

The values of our young are really deteriorating. And thanks to the giant networks, our nation is getting worse.

Some Advice

When I was a young professional, I was single, had no boyfriend and was always dateless. I did not seek Greensboro flirt or any other dating site for that matter.

Well, I really did not feel the need. I dunno, I also wanted to be in a relationship but I was not that desperate to be in one.

My office mate then gave me some unsolicited advice about men and relationships. She said that if I want to have a boyfriend, I should go out more often to meet guys. That is because she said that the guy of my dreams will not fall on my lap just like that. I have to hunt them in bars and discos.

But then I thought, if I would want to get married, I don’t think I would want to marry a guy that I met in a bar. After all, no offense meant, I am not a bar goer, so if I marry someone that I met there, how will we connect? We have nothing in common. If we get married, then he would want to go out to bars again but I would prefer to stay at home. So that will be a big deal and a big issue for us. So I might as well just wait.

And wait I did until I met my boyfriend who became my husband. I think that it was a better way.

Second Birthday Party

Would you believe that this early, three months after my baby’s 1st birthday, I am already thinking of what to do for her second birthday? Think about too advanced planning. hehe

Well, her second birthday party will be held at Jollibee, no question about that, because we won a Jollibee birthday package at an EQ Raffle Promo. Thank God really for this. Our daughter’s birthday party is already sold.

But I think I will want to add party favors so that it will not be like any other Jollibee party. I would like to have extra giveaways and prizes for the games. So anyway, maybe starting October, I will be buying some stuff already and will just collect them as the months go buy so that we will not have to spend for everything at one time.

We will be going to Cebu in October and a cousin of ours has a party favors store. So we will look around what we can find. We do have a tarp printing machine but I am not sure yet if we want to have a tarp backdrop for her birthday.
