Michael Jackson: This Is It

I missed the premiere screening of “This Is It”, the behind the scenes look at the King of Pop’s supposed comeback world tour rehearsal before he died last June at the age of 50.

This is not a movie but rather a documentary but it will be shown in theaters. I am not sure if the producers are the ones that produced the show, because the guys lost a lot of money when Michael died. Anyway, I do hope they recoup their losses. And very ingenious in releasing this footage commercially.

Well, I think my husband and I will just catch it when it is shown. Even if we are not ardent MJ fans, he sure is part of history. And we would want to take part in that.

Do you like platform beds?

I like platform beds. I like them because they can be confined to a certain area. And this is very ergonomic for us because we only have a room to my husband, my baby and myself. Our bed should have no frills and appendages.

Recently, I saw designer Platform Beds online at spacify.com. They are really chic! Very nice Italian designed beds. I particularly like this one, because it is not so expensive. But it is very stylish.

Anyway, after some time I am hoping that we would be able to have our own home. For our bedrooms, we are still going to have platform beds.

Hand Spa at The Blade Spa

I was privileged to be treated to a relaxing hand spa at The Blade Salon & Spa along San Juan Street, Bacolod City. First I was seated in a comfortable chair then a pretty and pleasant attendant came along. First she scrubbed my hands with salt crystals applying pressure on the reflexology points of my hand. Oh, that was relaxing already, as my hands are so abused from too much work.

Next, my hand was soaked in a hand spa tub (shown on the photo). The warm was warm and mixed with a moisturizing liquid hand soap. But this is no ordinary soap. This is Step 2 of the Hand Spa routine products that they have. After five minutes, my hand was lifted from the frothy water and dried.

A massage cream (Step 3) was applied on my hands and was further massage. Several minutes later, my hand was rinsed in warm water. The final process (Step 4) was the application of a special hand lotion, which was still applied while my hand was massaged.

Then it was on to the other hand. After both hands were thoroughly treated, I was given a manicure. See my pretty hand above? Just one hand because I used the other to handle my camera. haha

Anyway, it was truly a relaxing treat for my sore and tired hands. For only P300, I got an hour of pampering for my precious little hands.
